History

As a child, you could find me in my father's workshop, breaking tools, making messes, and hitting my fingers with a hammer. In the late eighties, driven by my obsession with skateboarding and lack of places to do it, I learned how to build and work with tools, constructing basic obstacles. Within a few years, and at the young age of 13, I earned a position on a crew constructing Colorado's first indoor skatepark. I had begun to learn the art of carpentry and the process of construction out of my necessity to skateboard. This pattern continued through the 90's and into the the next decade. I built skateparks of all sizes, wooden, concrete, and everything in between. I eventually, enjoyed the building process more than the sport itself. These building experiences carried over into my adult life where I've worked as a carpenter/builder for over 20 years.
