History

In 1997, J-V Dirt + Loam began installing compost and mulch for use as erosion control and re-vegetation. In 2000, TxDOT began implementation of Special Specifications for the use of compost. With the printing of the new TxDOT Blue Book of Standard Specifications in March 2003, compost became a standard product for use on roadways statewide. JV Environmental Services has emerged from J-V Dirt + Loam as the preferred residential and commercial installer of mulch, compost, erosion control, and re-vegetation. The experienced team uses their expertise in providing more detailed and personalized services to homeowners and business owners, including landscape designers.
