Lantana Pediatrics - Rebecca D. Butler, MD

Dr. Butler was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in 2002. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2007. She then completed her pediatric residency at the same institution in association with University Medical Center and Covenant Children's Hospital in 2010. After exploring different avenues of pediatric practice in a well established office in Frisco and urgent care centers throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area, she found the perfect place to "foster" her own family in North Texas and established Lantana Pediatrics in February of 2012. Dr. Butler is Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In October of 2011 Dr. Butler was honored to become a scholar of the Texas Medical Association Leadership College with aspirations to secure a role as a strong voice and advocate for her local community and the medical needs of children of North Texas.
