During his initial exposure to cardiology during his residency, he quickly became fascinated by the ability to leave a patient's bedside with a diagnosis and a plan of care. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. He is experienced in balloon angioplasty, stent deployment and atherectomy in the treatment of cardiac and peripheral arteries. Currently, he practices preventive and therapeutic cardiology and performs minimally-invasive, transcatheter atrial septal defect closures and peripheral vascular interventions, cardiac catheterization and intravascular ultrasound. He lives and practices in Kerrville and also at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
