He specializes in treating back and shoulder pain, head and neck pain, knee pain, neuropathy, sciatica, fibromyalgia, and much more at Pain Treatment Institute in Plano and Sherman, Texas.Dr. Syed earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and completed a medical degree and a master's degree in public health at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He went on to finish his residency in anesthesiology at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans and a fellowship in interventional pain management at Solar Health System.Using a multimodal approach to treat pain, Dr. Syed uses fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided injections, physical therapy, medication management, psychological counseling, and neuraxial manipulations.
