Gonzales-Luna is a native Houstonian and completed his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he graduated top of his class. He also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School. He then completed his fellowship in orthopedic trauma at the Reno Orthopedic Center. His fellowship training included additional dedicated training in arthroplasty and pediatric trauma.Gonzales-Luna is an active member of many professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Orthopedic Trauma Association. Outside of work, he enjoys playing and following sports and is a proud husband and father.
