Located in Lewisville, Texas, Huffines Middle School has an enrollment of more than 900 students in grades six through eight. The school has a staff of nearly 75 teachers that provides classes in reading, English, language arts, physical education, computer instruction, family and consumer science, mathematics, writing, social studies and science. In addition, the school offers courses in orchestra, Spanish, industrial technology, special education, band, music, art and theater. It maintains a parent-teacher association that works with students, families and businesses to expand educational opportunities for students. The school has guidance counselors who work with the faculty, students and parents to facilitate academic success and personal development of the students. Huffines Middle School is governed by the Lewisville Independent School District, which has been operational for approximately 15 years and serves over 50,000 students in Texas.

Texas Christian University, also known as TCU, enrolls more than 8,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. Founded in 1873, it operates the College of Communication, College of Fine Arts, The Neeley School of Business, and College of Science and Engineering. The university provides classes in business, communication, fine arts, science and management. Texas Christian University also operates sports, polo and player s clubs and organizes track and field, baseball and tennis tournaments. It has a staff of over 1,750 individuals. In addition, the university offers guidance counseling and dining services. Texas Christian University provides wellness programs and conducts field trips. Its extracurricular activities include dance, orchestra, music and theater.
