She then completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, where she earned the Barbara Sloan Patient Comfort Award for most compassionate care and was the best teaching resident. Afterward, Dr. Rajbhandary completed a fellowship in rheumatology at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, ranked one of the top rheumatology programs in the nation. She also received training in pediatric rheumatology at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.Dr. Rajbhandary has written many articles published in major rheumatology journals, is a frequent speaker at medical conferences, and has conducted many clinical research trials.
