San Angelo Fire Department

The San Angelo Fire Department, also known as SAFD, works for the protection of lives and properties. The department provides emergency medical and fire prevention and suppression services. It has a fleet of medic units, engines and ambulances. The San Angelo Fire Department manages a staff of more than 160 employees. The department operates over five fire stations and administers a training program. It also provides advance life-support services and transports patients to medical facilities in the city. The San Angelo Fire Department is a part of the Public Safety department, which is governed by the city of San Angelo in Texas.
