Spartan Concealed Handgun Licensing and Training, was created by Mike Rodriguez, current active duty Police Officer in Houston Texas, with over 24 years Law Enforcement experience in the greater Houston area. Former Anti-Terrorism Officer 2009-2013, T.C.O.L.E. Police Instructor, NRA Handgun Instructor, Texas Concealed Handgun Instructor and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. Spartan Concealed Handgun License and Training was created for citizens to obtain the proper DPS required training by an experienced instructor, so qualified individuals can defend themselves or loved ones from violent crimes.
Specialties
Texas concealed handgun training, required by Texas Department of Public Safety Regulatory services, in order to obtain a concealed handgun license. Also specializing in basic handgun training or handgun familiarization, using the National Rifle Association methods. If your a beginner hand gunner,never used a handgun or looking to improve your handgun shooting. Classroom training is held at HMS Tactical (13326 Westheimer).

Mike was an amazing instructor. I was nervous about the shooting proficiency class but all nerves were gone as soon as we met. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who's ready for their LTC...

I took both a private lesson and the class with Mike. He's awesome, keeps the class material interesting, relevant, fun and is a great instructor. I highly recommend taking his training courses!
