Sana Shoukat, MD, is committed to improving outcomes for adult and senior patients with advanced heart failure or heart complications. Her clinical and research interests also include cardiomyopathies and heart disease in women. Shoukat graduated from medical school at the Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan in 2008. She completed internal medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta in 2013. After working as an internist for three years, she followed her passion for heart care and completed two fellowships in cardiovascular diseases, and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

Dr. Joseph Cochran is a board-certified neurological surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive techniques used to treat a wide variety of conditions affecting the brain and spine. Using the most current and innovative robotic, endoscopic, and endovascular techniques Dr. Cochran treats most conditions minimally invasively, using incisions that are less than 2 inches. This includes procedures such as spinal fusion, aneurysm clipping or coiling, tumor resection and bypass procedures.
