HistoryWe have served hundreds of adults and children in the Austin area since our inception! The ratio of services is about 60% participating in the Cooking Up English programming and 40% in Cookovers. Our results? 96% report improved cultural understanding 84% report increased confidence speaking the languageSpecialtiesCooking Up Cultures is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides supportive, edible environments for learning languages and sharing cultures. We offer programming for both locals and foreigners to learn about the culinary traditions and everyday language skills of their neighbors. Our ultimate purpose is to bridge the cultural barriers that exist in our communities. We accomplish this mission through these two specific programs: Cooking Up English and Cookovers.
