The Village Church, formerly known as Highland Village First Baptist Church, was founded in 1977. The church supports the gospel and Christian spirituality through its prayer services and seminars. It operates a preschool ministry that serves infants and kindergarten students. The Village Church also manages a middle school ministry that offers classes in Bible studies to students in grades six through eight. In addition, the church offers premarital counseling and grief recovery programs. It operates The Center for Christian Counseling, which conducts counseling sessions for issues related to depression, anxiety, anger and addiction. The Village Church additionally manages multigenerational, college and recovery groups.
