History

Our mission is to provide a unique catered experience inspired by world cuisine, using local ingredients for all of Austin's eclectic foodies. The seed of Thyme Travel Catering was planted in early February of 2013. With our diverse talents and various backgrounds we figured that it would be a waste of knowledge and experience to let it disappear in the fumes of corporate kitchens. And so, one successful investors lunch later, we began our journey on the culinary road with the purpose of pleasuring Austin's refined eaters. We'll take you off the gastronomic highways to the paths less traveled with the comfort from our experienced staff and with your vision in the horizon. From weddings to cocktail parties we can cater your event as formal or as casual you want. Let us show you what passion about food is all about!

Each member of our diverse culinary team is proud to bring with them expertise in different world cuisines. Be it traditional American, European, Latin American, Asian, or African, our food will transport you to the heart of the place your menu inspires. We are serious about keeping our carbon footprint low, and helping support local businesses. We are partnered with local farms and retailers that provide us fresh, organic ingredients for each event.
