Dr. McSpadden used his elective months to pursue training in joint reconstruction and orthopedic trauma. He has a broad scope of practice including joint reconstruction, fracture care, arthroscopic treatment of sports injuries, hand and foot surgery, and has been trained in minimally invasive anterior hip replacement as well as robotic assisted knee and hip reconstruction. He earned his medical degree and graduated with honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then completed a five-year Orthopedic Residency at the same institution and a year Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
