Tripathy Chandana MD

Tripathy Chandana MD is a board-certified internist with over 15 years of clinical expertise in primary care, specializing in internal medicine. As the Primary Care Medical Director of the UT Health Medical Arts and Research Center (MARC), Dr. Chandana is dedicated to providing compassionate, safe, and evidence-based care to patients in an academic patient-centered medical home. With a focus on improving the health of the South Texas community, she also plays a vital role in teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Chandana completed her medical education at Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and her residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She joined UT Health San Antonio shortly after, where she currently serves as a clinical faculty in the Long School of Medicine. With a commitment to excellence in advanced academics, life-saving research, and comprehensive clinical care, UT Health San Antonio strives to make lives better through their health, dental, and cancer services.
