Vidor Middle School
Founded in 1982, Vidor Middle School serves more than 800 students in grades five and six. It offers a wide variety of academic programs, including reading, English, mathematics, social studies, science, music, arts and physical education. The school offers various athletic activities, such as basketball, baseball, volleyball soccer, cross country and swimming. It provides various facilities, including a library, computer laboratories, playing fields, cafeteria and school supplies. The school s library has a collection of various award winning books and offers an accelerated reading program, computerized information system and literature-based reading programs and provides teachers with instructional data. The school supplies various items to its students, including science laboratory notebooks, highlighters, erasers, pencils, rulers and folders.
