Summit School is a residential school providing a 24-hour day program of therapy, education and social support. The institution is a high school offering college preparatory courses and remedial programs to students. The school provides education in students of grades nine through 12. It offers subjects, such as English, economics, American history, psychology, sociology, criminal law, biology, chemistry, forensic science, physical education, and mathematics. The school offers various facilities, including resource rooms, tutoring services, a library and computer media center. It also provides fitness center, wood shop, radio station, recreation room, evening coffee house and special dinners. Summit School was established in 1974 and is located in Nyack, N.Y.
