Dr. Morrow completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and has significant experience in esophageal surgery and diagnosis of pathophysiology. She has performed a high volume of laparoscopic procedures for reflux, paraesophageal hernias, and achalasia. Dr. Morrow is certified in bariatric (weight loss) surgery, with experience in laparoscopic gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and revisions. Dr. Mary Beth Scholand, MD is an associate professor in Pulmonary Medicine. Her research and clinical interest is Interstitial Lung Disease. This interest encompasses Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Autoimmune Lung Diseases and Sarcoidosis. She is the Director of the Interstitial Lung Disease Clinic. She runs clinical trials focused on a cure for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. In addition, her research focuses on phenotypic factors and genetic factors associated with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases and Interstitial Lung Diseases.

Julie K. Thomas, M.D. is an assistant professor in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. She is a clinical rheumatologist who sees patients with systemic autoimmune conditions and inflammatory arthritis. She has a particular interest in quality improvement in patient care. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, and her Medical degree at New Jersey Medical School Newark, NJ. She completed her internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and her rheumatology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She practiced rheumatology in Reno, Nevada prior to joining the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2016.
