History'm a news junkie. Every morning I visit a number of different websites and read up on the morning headlines. With the internet and TV, we are able to get instant news from all over the world. I am continually amazed at how often major disasters happen. I am not sure if the frequency has increased or if they are reported on more thoroughly, but either way, it reminds me of the need for everyone to be prepared. My wife and I started this business 8 years ago. To be frank, there are a lot of kookie ideas out there in the preparedness industry. While we strongly believe in being prepared natural and man-made disasters, we are not digging a bomb shelter under our house. We are not burying gold in our backyard. We are an average American family with the same concerns that you have.
