It is done by insertion of a probe that is smaller than the hair follicle its self and then a current is put into the hair follicle which shuts down the blood supply. With no blood supply the hair can no longer grow. Waxing is a form of temporary hair removal in which the hair is removed from the hair follicle with wax. Waxing can last for up to 6-8 weeks before having hair regrowth.
