Dr. Alvey received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He completed his Pediatric residency at Primary Children’s Hospital/ University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Alvey is an experienced general pediatrician who practiced in the community for over 15 years prior to joining the Faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of General Pediatrics. Liz is a Utah transplant from New England who recently completed residency and a Chief Resident year at the University of Utah. Her current academic interests are nursery medicine, QI, and graduate medical education. When out of the hospital, you can find her hiking with her family trying out new restaurants.
