Nathan T. Van Dyk

Fuad Shihab, M.D. is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah. As a transplant nephrologist, he manages and directs the pre- and post-transplant evaluation and management of kidney transplant patients in addition to the evaluation of living donors. He is active in transplant research and speaks frequently at a national level in these areas. He has received multiple scholastic recognitions including Who’s Who in America and America’s Top Doctor in US News and World Report in addition to Faculty Teaching Awards from the School of Medicine. Dr. Shihab received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He completed his Nephrology fellowship training from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia followed by a Transplantation Medicine fellowship at the Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland. Dr. Shihab is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He has been active in various national societies in his field including the American Society of Transplantation where he chaired the Fellowship Training, the Conflict of Interest and the Development committees. He is also actively involved in various committees in United Network of Organ Transplantation, the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation. He is also a board member of the American Foundation for Donation and Transplantation. Currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians; Fellow of The American Society of Nephrology; Fellow of The National Kidney Foundation and Fellow of The American Society of Transplantation.

Dr. Hollingshaus was born in Pittsburgh, PA, but spent most of his childhood in Southern California. After completing an undergraduate degree in applied physics at Brigham Young University, he attended medical school at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. In 2010 he returned to Utah for an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Utah. After residency he practiced general internal medicine at the Intermountain Healthcare Southridge Clinic in Riverton for two years before returning to training in the Intermountain Healthcare/University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program. Dr. Hollingshaus is involved with the sleep medicine fellowship at the University of Utah and runs the VA sleep clinic. His focus is on practice advancement and developments in large population management for sleep apnea. Dr. Hollingshaus lives in the Salt Lake Valley with his wife and three young children.

Ashley Ann Cameron, MPAS, MS, PA-C, RDN is a certified physician assistant and registered dietitian, specializing in family medicine. Ashley is a graduate of the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She also holds a Master of Science in Nutrition Science and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Brigham Young University. She is eager to help her patients achieve their health goals.
