Located in Bennington, Vt., Centers for Living and Rehabilitation is operated by Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. It offers rehabilitation, subacute and long-term care services and facilities. The center s rehabilitation program provides various equipment and fully functional apartments that include operating kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and laundry areas. It provides a wide variety of services, such as orthopedic management, intravenous therapies, and pain and pulmonary management. The center s services also include cardiovascular and diabetes management, cardiac and stroke recovery programs, wound care and peritoneal dialysis. Additionally, it also offers various social activities and handiwork, fitness and entertainment options. The center provides various rehabilitation sessions with physical, occupational and speech therapists, and periodic consultations for patients.
