Working with children, adolescents, and their parents is incredibly rewarding, and I consider it a privilege to be part of their care team. My priority is to create a comfortable environment where patients and families feel heard, understood, and hopeful, especially in stressful situations. The greatest reward comes when my work with an individual or family concludes, and they feel equipped to move forward, having gained valuable insights from our time together. I strive to be relatable and empathetic, ensuring that my patients feel they are in capable hands, supported by my training and expertise. Maitri Health Care for Women is a group of female health care providers (three doctors and two certified nurse midwives) united in 2003 to create a comprehensive, compassionate obstetrics and gynecology practice for women of all ages. Maitri Health Care for Women is the premier OBGYN practice in Chittenden County, delivering over 600 babies per year, and providing state of the art gynecologic care for women. We practice medicine with an emphasis on individualized, holistic care. We seek to know our patients well, and to help them achieve their personal health goals, whether this is a healthy baby, a strong personal discipline to age with grace and strength, or successful healing from surgical treatment of a gynecological problem.

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Appointments can be scheduled by calling (802) 847-8864 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. At the University of Vermont Medical Center blood collection labs, our nationally certified phlebotomists draw blood in a professional and caring manner for a variety of tests. Our Laboratory Services - Fanny Allen Campus location offers blood draws by appointment only. Free parking is available.
