The Fire Tower Restaurant Tavern, located in the heart of Stratton Village, offers guests eclectic comfort fare in a rustic dining room or the Porcupine Lounge in the tavern. Named after the iconic fire tower atop Southern Vermont's Highest Peak, the restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere for enjoying handcrafted cocktails, local Vermont beers, and a satisfying menu for all appetites.
The Fire Tower derives its name from the historic lookout tower built in 1912, now standing as a landmark on the Appalachian and Long Trails. The Porcupine Lounge pays homage to the original fire-spotters cabin, now maintained by The Green Mountain Club and occupied by caretakers of the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail during the summer months.
