The Quechee Gorge Visitor Center, managed by the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Army Corps of Engineers and the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation, serves as a gateway to the stunning 612-acre Quechee Gorge State Park. Welcoming over 100,000 visitors annually, this center not only provides access to Vermont's breathtaking "Little Grand Canyon" but also connects guests with local businesses and services throughout the Hartford Area and Upper Valley.
Located at the Vermont-New Hampshire border and just south of Dartmouth College, the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce dedicates itself to supporting and nurturing businesses of all sizes and industries. Through advocacy, economic development initiatives, and specialized resources, the Chamber aims to bolster the vibrant local business community across the Greater Hartford Area and beyond, extending its reach to Windsor County and the Upper Valley.
One of the Chamber's marquee events is the Quechee Balloon Festival, a dazzling three-day celebration that draws crowds from near and far with its awe-inspiring hot air balloon launches, local culinary delights, artisan crafts, and family-friendly activities. This festival epitomizes the unique charm and lively essence of the community, attracting both local residents and international visitors to revel in the festivities.
