Had a lovely stay and dinner at the Hartness House Inn! Delicious food, clean accommodations and the friendliest servers I've ever encountered! I loved my brisket sandwich and the two aps my table...

Solid hotel, didn't get a chance to go into the actual house but there are rooms in the back that are well maintained. Wish there were some more outlets.

Amazing wedding venue. Be sure to tour the telescope, too. The rooms are comfortable, but really it is the openness of the spaces and the sense of opulence of a bygone era that make it stand out.

I was saddened to see another of piece Springfield's history has turned tawdry. I was under the impression that the inn had been purchased and completely redone. My room was in the hotel area...
