Ausable Club
Ausable Club is home to a challenging 9-hole golf course. The golf course is open throughout the Pre, Post and Summer Seasons. Tee times are not available and play is determined on a first come - first served basis. Children 12 and under are not permitted to play golf on weekends and holidays until after 3pm except at the discretion of the Golf Professional. Professional golf lessons are available. Tennis court fees are payable by Guests when the clubhouse is open. Court fees per day are $10.00 per adult and $5.00 per child 12 years of age and under. Courts may be reserved at the tennis shop for 1 1/2 hour segments the day prior to use. Professional tennis lessons are available. Please contact the Tennis Pro Shop for more information and availability. (518) 576-4411 X219 The Club pool is open in the Main Summer Season only (July 1st - August 31st) The Club provides a pool attendant to supervise activities at the swimming pool and playground area and hand out towels. Children 10 years and older may be left unattended provided they have passed a swim test. Pool hours vary with weather conditions, cleaning and the reservations for private events. Please call the pool for daily hours of operation. Guests going onto AMR property are requested to register at the gatehouse, for their own protection and safety. When hiking from the Upper Lake, all hikers are encouraged to register in the camp log book or at the Warden's Camp. If leaving the AMR property on their hike and going onto New York State owned land, all persons are required by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation to register at the Lake Road gatehouse. If camping overnight on State land, hikers must carry with them a DEC "Self-Issuing Permit" which is available at the gatehouse. Maps and guides to Club trails are available at the Front Desk.
