Woodstock Middle (covered) Bridge

The Middle Covered Bridge, located in Woodstock, Vermont, is a notable example of modern covered bridge construction, built in 1969 by builder Milton Graton. This bridge replaced an 1877 iron structure that was condemned in 1966 and features a town lattice truss design, spanning 136 feet over the Ottauquechee River.

Restoration efforts were completed in 1976 after the bridge suffered partial damage from a fire in 1974. The bridge is recognized for its historical significance and is part of the ongoing preservation efforts by the Vermont Covered Bridge Society.
