Amy Pharr is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner of 30 years and a certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner of 20 years. While getting her master's degree at Mississippi University for Women, she was a professor in their baccalaureate nursing program. During her time at one of the local colleges, Amy also re-wrote/revamped the entire psychiatric nursing program. Amy was then in solo practice for seven years doing both medical and psychiatric care. She also taught phlebotomy and nursing at the local colleges and taught psychiatry at Methodist College for the physician's assistant students during this time.
