History

As Founder of Bracken Audio, John Bracken brings a variety of skills and experiences to the company. After serving in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst, John applied his problem solving, quick thinking abilities, and attention to detail to the world of audio. Since 1988, John has engineered shows for the likes of high profile speakers such as President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush, (former) Senator Hilary Clinton, and Oprah Winfrey. In addition to these engagements, John has also served as monitor engineer for acts such as The B-52s, Ziggy Marley, and The Go-Go's, along with large-scale festivals including Jamboree in the Hills, Rocky Gap Country Festival, WHFS Festival, and The Capital Jazz Festival. Currently, John is in his fourth year touring with The Beach Boys as their monitor engineer.
