Caroline Christian, MD

Dr. Mendoza, a hospitalist at CHKD, is originally from Zimbabwe where she first developed a passion for pediatrics and global health. She moved to the United States to attend Messiah University in Pennsylvania and then attended medical school at Penn State University College of Medicine. Dr. Mendoza completed a pediatric residency and then a pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Emory University where she began her career.

A board-certified pediatric surgeon, Dr. Sani Z. Yamout obtained his medical degree from the American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine, before pursuing general surgery training in the United States. It was during this time that he was exposed to the field of pediatric surgery, a specialty that captivated him with its unique challenges and profound rewards. He was soon "hooked" and decided to dedicate his career to the care of children.

Michelle Georgia, DO is a pediatric emergency medicine specialist at CHKD in Norfolk, VA, with expertise in point of care ultrasound and medical education. Dr. Georgia earned her degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Massachusetts.
