HistoryThe Rock Room opened in Sept. 2009. Many of my students wanted to get together with other musicians which led me to the idea of the Rock Room. Our intention is to inspire young musicians with the gift of music and provide the setting and opportunity to those who otherwise might not participate in such an activity. The Rock Room musicians often travel miles to be a part of something very unique. Most enjoy the experience as a hobby and are not considering a career in music. The Rock Room teachers have decades of real life experience to share with the students. All lessons are given in a safe and nurturing environment. Parents often are present and in some instances have been former students themselves. This says a lot about the Rock Room. The Rock Room is becoming a multi-generational experience. Some students have gone on to international status gaining both major T.V and entertainment markets while others currently perform with many local bands.SpecialtiesMusic lessons for guitar, bass guitar and drums. Intermediate musicians and singers can join a band and perform at local venues and events.
