Founded in 1917, Merchants Grocery Company is a Full-Line Wholesale Food Distributor located in Culpeper, Va. The company services more than 1,500 accounts in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland with approximately 12,000 SKU's. Merchants Grocery Company has affiliations with The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, Food Marketing Institute, Snack Food Association, Tobacco Merchants Association, National Confectioners Association, American Wholesale Marketers Association and Southern Association of Wholesale Distributors, to name a few. In 2011, Merchants Grocery Company received ID DSR Salesman of the Month award.

McLane Mid Atlantic, a division of McLane Company, serves more than 1,900 customers in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the District of Columbia. With annual sales revenue of over $800 million, it employs a staff of nearly 750 people.
