Cyrus Heydarian, MD

Dr. Moneymaker is the Director of the CHKD Lead Clinic and is an Associate Director of the Pediatric Residency Program at CHKD and EVMS. Dr. Moneymaker's areas of interest include pediatric resident education and global health. Her practice group is the General Academic Pediatrics based at CHKD which has won the Department of Pediatrics Community Teaching Award for 5 consecutive years. They care for a diversity of patients and are the teaching practice for EVMS medical students and the CHKD pediatric residents’ ambulatory rotation. Since 2006, Dr. Moneymaker has been involved in Global Health medical trips to Honduras and Belize with EVMS students and residents.

Originally from Memphis, Dr. Caves recently moved to the Tidewater area after completing her fellowship in adolescent medicine at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. She provides compassionate and equitable care to adolescents and young adults. Adolescence is a time of rapid growth and development, both physically and emotionally, and may be a difficult adjustment for youth and their families. Her goals are to provide an inclusive, non-judgmental clinical atmosphere while offering educational and confidential services related to reproductive/sexual and mental health.

Dr. Janelle Fox is a pediatric urologist at CHKD who has expertise in quality improvement and patient safety. She received her medical degree at the University of California San Diego, and completed her residency at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. She also completed a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Before coming to CHKD, Dr. Fox worked at the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and also in the United States Navy. Her clinical interests include kidney stones, genitourinary trauma and reconstruction, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and treatment options for refractory voiding dysfunction.
