In times of stress and uncertainty, a bottle of wine can provide some peace and relaxation for body, mind and spirit. A psychological and wine-o-logical getaway ! Currently featuring full service "flights" - a generous selection of wines, in crystal glassware, served at your table, by a knowledgeable team member who will describe the wines, answer your questions, share some local stories, and chat with you during your visit: a great personal experience. DuCard is a gorgeous boutique vineyard and winery at the edge of the Shenandoah National Park, named Virginia's Greenest Winery, with great wines and personal service in a relaxing location. Authenticity: more and more, wineries buy grapes from others, or even contract out wine-making to someone else. Not us: 90% of our fruit comes from the three local sites that we actively farm, and all the wines are made on-site, by us. Terroir - or sense of place - is what many look for.
