Francis C. Hammond Middle School

Francis C. Hammond Middle School is an educational institution that provides academic programs for students in grades six through eight. The school has been serving students since 1956. It has a staff of more than 130 employees that serves over 1,100 students. Francis C. Hammond Middle School offers educational classes in math, English, social studies, science, art, computer applications, French, German, Latin and Spanish. It offers the English as a Second Language program. The school provides special education services for talented and gifted students. It offers membership opportunities in the National Junior Honor Society. The school has received the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Education Award.
