Kate Crandley, MD

Dr. Nottingham has worked at TCA since 2002. Having lived in the area off and on since 1979 due to military ties, he attended EVMS after majoring in Biology at the University of Virginia. While completing residency at the University of North Carolina, he knew he wanted to return to Norfolk and CHKD. In addition to practicing medicine, he enjoys teaching residents and medical students in the office. He is active on several committees, including the Children's Medical Group and Immunization Committee. Dr. Nottingham prides himself on practicing logical, evidence-based medicine. He strives to educate his patients as much as possible about their medical problems. He believes in prevention, appropriate testing, and judicious use of antibiotics.

Dr. Hendricks, who grew up in Atlanta, attended the University of Virginia, where she majored in biology and psychology. She received her Master of Public Health at Emory University and worked as an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). She returned to Virginia to attend the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, also known as Medical College of Virginia, for her medical degree and to complete pediatric residency at CHKD, where she fell in love with the Tidewater area. During residency, she was fortunate to have mentors who specialized in breastfeeding medicine. Dr. Hendricks became passionate about promoting breastfeeding and helping families breastfeed.
