Matt is responsible for the continued growth and executive oversight of the central North Carolina offices for TowneBank. He held a pivotal role in the introduction of TowneBank to the Triangle and Charlotte markets in 2018, and now will lead those areas as well as the banking professionals in the Triad and Greenville markets. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Matt brings nearly 30 years of banking experience, including past roles as chief credit officer and chief operating officer at Paragon Bank prior to its acquisition by TowneBank. Matt mostly recently served as chief strategy and risk officer as part of the TowneBank Corporate Management Group. Matt is a Certified Professional and Executive Coach and works with teams across TowneBank to help each person gain self-understanding to help maximize their potential. “Understanding what motivates my team is my passion.”

Meredith joined the TowneBank family in 2009. As LEAD Program Manager, Meredith recruits, welcomes, and inspires future leaders of the Towne family. She values associates with diverse talents and experiences as they foster and enhance the Towne culture of excellence. Meredith received her undergraduate degree in marketing and her and graduate degree in marketing education from Virginia Tech. She is also a graduate of the TowneBank Management Associate Program and the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management. Active in her community, Meredith is a member of the Tidewater Chapter of the Hokie Club, Isle of Wight Academy Alumni Association, and the United Way Women's United. She also supports Salvation Army, United Way, Roc Solid Foundation, JT Walk, Norfolk Association of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and the Isle of Wight Chamber Student Leadership Program. She is a member of the Virginia Banker’s Association Emerging Bank Leaders and serves on the steering committee. Additionally, Meredith serves as an ally chair for the Pride Networking circle at Towne and participates in various employee resource groups. As a Treasury Management Advisor, Nancy partners with our local bankers to bring treasury management to small business members. With over a decade of industry experience, she focuses on educating small business owners on the value of cash management services such as fraud prevention, remote deposit services, automated payments, and wires. Active in her community, Nancy volunteers with the United Way of South Hampton Roads, with local pet shelters, and with her children’s Parent/Teacher Association. “I want my members to know that no matter the issue, big or small, that I am only a phone call away.”
