Bicycle and foot races through Richmond generally use Monument Avenue as part of their route, and while this is exciting to watch, spectators will not be allowed to roam at will and explore the various statues and historical markers. Other events occur periodically, especially during springtime, that do not block access to the monuments, but may make parking challenging to find. Stuart, Jefferson Davis, Stonewall Jackson, Matthew Fontaine Maury, and Arthur Ashe.
