Emergency Physicians of Tidewater (EPT), founded in 1971, is a physician-owned organization dedicated to delivering quality, compassionate, and efficient acute care to the communities of Southeastern Virginia. With over 200 dedicated doctors and advanced practice providers, EPT operates five hospital-based and two freestanding emergency departments, alongside an Observation Medicine service line.
