Quarles Elementary School

Founded in 1955, Garland Quarles Elementary School features a library, gymnasium, cafeteria, kitchen, stage, computer laboratory, art room, courtyard and more than 20 classrooms. Its staff includes reading specialists, nurses, psychologists, guidance counselors, speech therapists and custodians. The school organizes individual and group counseling sessions on peer relationships, family changes, anger management, goal setting and decision making. Its parent-teacher organization conducts several fundraising events to purchase computers, video cameras and gymnasium equipment and support campus projects.
