Suffolk Fire & Rescue Station 1

Suffolk Department of Fire & Rescue is one of the units operated by the government of the city of Suffolk. The department provides a wide range of administrative and fire control services by trained personnel. Suffolk Department of Fire & Rescue also offers fire extinguisher services in emergency situations and at all places within the city. Its fire prevention and public education division ensures conformation with the codes and ordinances affecting fire and life safety. It also administers various hazardous processes and storage, develops and implements fire safety programs, conducts building inspections, investigates complaints of potential fire hazards, and provides training to update department personnel of several standards and practices.
