The Valley Community Services Board operates Grandview Residence, a 5-plus-bed residence that serves adults with mental, physical and medical disabilities. The agency specializes in intensive outpatient and day treatment programs. In addition, it offers 24-hour crisis intervention services. The Valley Community Services Board works in partnerships with advocates, private sector providers, public service agencies, and legal and court systems.

Fredericksburg Ambulatory Surgery Center is the only tertiary-level outpatient surgery facility in the region and has been performing surgeries since 1987.
