The Community Associations Institute, also known as CAI is a national membership association that provides information, tools and resources for homeowners and professionals who govern and manage community and condominium associations. Its members include community managers, volunteer homeowner leaders and other professionals. CAI conducts researches and organizes seminars and workshops. It also publishes magazines, periodicals and newsletters that provide information related to community associations management, governance and laws. CAI represents members before the state legislatures and federal agencies on issues, such as taxes, assessment collection, foreclosure, insurance, bankruptcy reform and fair housing.
