Woodburn Elementary School

Established in 1953, Woodburn School for the Fine & Communicative Arts is a member of the Student Cooperative Association and enrolls more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music, and physical and health education. It operates a student council and offers various after-school programs. Woodburn School for the Fine & Communicative Arts also offers instruction in violin playing. It operates drama, cartoon, buddy and homework clubs. In addition, the school s parent-teacher association conducts monthly meetings and supports several school events and activities. It is a part of Fairfax County Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in the United States. Woodburn School for the Fine & Communicative Arts is located in Falls Church, Va.
