Bill moved his family to Longview, WA in1964, where he entered into an agreement to purchase Mason Ford. In 1972, he founded Columbia Ford in its present location. After years of community service , Bill Sari was acknowledged in 1998 as Time Magazine's Dealer of the Year for the state of Washington. Over the years, Bill's three sons have all joined the family business as well as Bill's son-in-law. Each member of the family play an important role in the dealership and are very much involved with customers. Pat Sari is the General Manager, Phil Sari is the General Sales Manager, and Peter Rybar is the Government/Fleet Sales Manager. Columbia Ford expanded its doors in 2003, adding the Hyundai franchise to offer more choices for its customers. Holding the State Contract for Government sales, over the past 10 years Columbia Ford has delivered well over 10,000 vehicles to the state of Washington as a result of Columbia's competitive pricing, thus making Columbia Ford the nation's largest Ford hybrid dealer. Columbia Ford Lincoln Hyundai has over four hundred vehicles in stock, as well as a rental service, consisting of cars, trucks, and vans.
