This is a nice, scenic spot to enjoy a wine tasing. Admittedly, I know nothing about wine, and don't drink much, so I can't say much about the taste. But it was a nice place to enjoy a sunny day....

Lacey & Charlie Lybecker started Cairdeas Winery in 2009 in Seattle’s West Seattle neighborhood. They moved to the Lake Chelan Wine Valley in 2012 with the goal of establishing roots and planting a small estate vineyard. They pull their winemaking inspiration from the Rhône Valley of France and make high quality wine in that style using Washington fruit. Cairdeas (car-diss), a nod to their heritage, is Irish Gaelic for friendship, goodwill or alliance.
