History

CoCA, the Center on Contemporary Art, serves the Pacific Northwest as a catalyst and forum for the advancement, development, and understanding of Contemporary Art. CoCA has been a vital part of contemporary art in the Northwest for 35 years, and has operated galleries and produced events throughout the Seattle area over that time period.

In addition to providing meaningful art experiences, as a non-profit we also offer great Volunteer opportunities. We invite you to become part of one of the country's most colorful, and oldest, arts organizations. Working with CoCA will give you the opportunity to hone your skills, build your resume, gain college credits or fulfill your philanthropic desires.
